* At present, the subthemes or goals for this area are still under development. However, this point emphasizes the importance of proper waste management to protect human health, the environment, and to promote sustainable economic development. 

Effective waste management can also reduce the production of greenhouse gas emissions, conserve natural resources, and reduce the use of landfills, which can have negative impacts on the environment and human health.
