• 5.1.1 Proportion of seats held by women in national parliaments

  • This indicator measures the proportion of seats held by women in national parliament, either in single or lower houses, expressed as a percentage of total seats. It aims to track progress towards gender equality in political representation.

• 5.2.1 Proportion of women in managerial positions

  • This indicator measures the proportion of women in senior and middle management positions, regardless of sector, as a percentage of all individuals in these types of positions. It aims to monitor progress towards gender equality in the workplace.

• 5.3.1 Proportion of ever-partnered women and girls subjected to physical, sexual or psychological violence by a current or former intimate partner in the previous 12 months

  • This indicator measures the proportion of ever-partnered women and girls who have experienced physical, sexual, or psychological violence by an intimate partner in the past 12 months. It aims to track progress towards ending violence against women and girls.

• 5.5.1 Proportion of women aged 25-34 years with at least some secondary education

  • This indicator measures the proportion of women aged 25-34 years who have attained at least some secondary education. It aims to monitor progress towards gender equality in education.

• 5.a.1 Proportion of women, who have account in a financial institution or with a mobile-money-service provider

  • This indicator measures the proportion of women who have access to formal financial services, such as a bank account or mobile money services. It aims to monitor progress towards economic empowerment for women.

• 5.b.1 Proportion of women-owned businesses among total businesses

  • This indicator measures the proportion of businesses that are owned by women, expressed as a percentage of all businesses. It aims to monitor progress towards gender equality in entrepreneurship and business ownership.
